Software License

Launchtic's source-available license (Sustainable Use License) and what the paid Agency tier adds.

Launchtic's source is available under the Sustainable Use License (SUL) — a fair-code license, not a traditional open-source (OSI) license. Self-hosting, modifying, and running it for your own business is free, with no license key required.

What SUL means in practice

You may, free of charge:

  • Self-host Launchtic for your own company, clients, or personal projects
  • Read and modify the source code for your own use
  • Use every Free-tier feature: unlimited funnels, contacts, workflows, checkout, and CRM

You may not, without a commercial agreement:

  • Offer Launchtic as a hosted/managed SaaS product to third parties
  • White-label or resell it as your own platform
  • Build a competing commercial product from it

What Agency adds

Agency ($997/yr) is a paid subscription, not a separate source license — it unlocks a feature set at runtime via a license key: unlimited client workspaces, white-label branding, and one-click workspace cloning. This is exactly the "offer it to clients under your own brand" case the free SUL license doesn't cover on its own.

Activating an Agency key doesn't change what source you're running — the whole platform ships from the same codebase. It just tells your instance "this operator has an active Agency subscription," which unlocks those runtime-gated features. If the subscription lapses, your instance falls back to Free (one workspace) — nothing is deleted, and reactivating restores it immediately.

What you cannot do, regardless of tier

  • Remove or alter Launchtic copyright, trademark, or licensing notices
  • Use Launchtic to operate funnels, emails, or services that violate applicable law

OEM, embed, and enterprise

If you want to embed Launchtic into a product you distribute, need SSO/audit logs, or want a custom SLA, that's the Enterprise tier — a separate commercial agreement, not covered by SUL or the self-serve Agency subscription.
